Terms and Conditions

To maintain a high standard of comfort and privacy for our guests we ask that you comply with our terms and conditions.

NUMBER OF GUESTS must not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

PARTIES AND FUNCTIONS are strictly prohibited unless otherwise arranged with the owners. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this will result in additional payments and an early check out!

PERSONAL INJURY All guests are made aware and are in agreement that any injury incurred whilst at the “Moon River” property is to be their own responsibility.

DAMAGE, BREAKAGES, THEFT AND LOSS of OUR PROPERTY are the tenants responsibility during their stay. Further fees may be charged to replace lost or broken items.

LOSS OF GUEST PROPERTY – the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property

CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT– the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-in is 2pm and Check-out time is10.00am, (unless otherwise arranged), to allow time to prepare the property for the next guests.

DISTURBANCE TO OUR NEIGHBOURS, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental.

PETS – No animals allowed, HOWEVER this is not an animal-free property.

CLEAN AIR POLICY – Smoking, including recreational drugs, is NOT permitted internally or anywhere on the 3 acre property. Guests will be asked to vacate immediately if found breaking this rule. We are very conscious of providing a clean, healthy environment for our guests.

NOTE: Variances can be agreed to but only by arrangement with the owners in writing.

Payment of the rental in full is required and constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

CANCELLATIONS:

(a) If a guest cancels a confirmed booking 2 months or more prior to check in, the full amount will be returned less $50.00 administration fee (inc GST).

(b) If a guest cancels a confirmed booking less than 2 months prior to check in, no refund shall be made unless the premise is re-let for the total period of the proposed occupancy, in which case a service fee of $50.00 of the total booking amount shall be charged.

(c) No refund is made on the unused portion of rent, if guests vacate the property prior to their departure date.

(d) In the event of advance bookings being cancelled by the owner and/or agent, a full refund will apply.

(e) In this event, we will notify you as soon as possible and do our best to arrange other accommodation or dates suitable to you, failing which all deposit monies will be refunded by no other claim, right or action or demand shall exist in or be made by either party.

(f) Due consideration will be given to any request for cancellation at any time occasioned by exceptional circumstances.
